A resolution establishing the district’s preferences regarding contract schedules for the upgrade project
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF directors of the sunny meadows Missoula county water and sewer district:
WHEREAS, the District must conform to Montana state guidelines regarding bidding of contracts for public facilities; and
WHEREAS, the instructions to bidders provide for bidding of several alternative methods of tank construction; and
WHEREAS, the District must determine in advance its preferences for which alternative will be selected if they are under the project budget; and
WHEREAS, the board has considered the life cycle costs and benefits of the various methods of contruction.
THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, that the District establishes the following order of preference for schedules contained within the bidding instructions:

Schedule B – Glass Lined Steel Tank

Schedule C – Epoxy Coated Bolted Tank

Schedule A – Welded Steel Tank
