A RESOLUTION FOR JULY 1, 2022 BOND PAYMENT AND ADDITIONAL PREPAYMENT
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE Sunny Meadows Missoula County Water and Sewer District:
WHEREAS, the District was incorporated as a water and sewer district under the provisions of Title 7, Chapter 13, parts 22 and 23 M.C.A; and
WHEREAS, the Sunny Meadows Missoula County Water and Sewer District, Montana has the legal jurisdiction and authority to construct, finance, operate and maintain the water system; and
WHEREAS, the District has pursued and received funding from the ARPA (The American Rescue Plan Act) to upgrade its water system; and
WHEREAS, the grant funds received will not be sufficient to fund the entire proposed upgrade project; and
WHEREAS, the District must prepay $15,000.00 (fifteen thousand dollars and 00 cents) on existing bonds issued through the DNRC’s Drinking Water State Revolving Fund program in order to qualify for a new SRF loan; and
WHEREAS, the original bond payment is 5,450.00 (five thousand four hundred fifty dollars) bringing the combined and total payment due to $20,450.00 (twenty thousand four hundred fifty dollars and 00 cents; and
WHEREAS, said bonds have a payment due on or about July1, 2022; and
WHEREAS, the District’s payment will be transmitted by Missoula County to the appropriate recipient.
THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, that the District authorizes payment as required by the SRF program. It further directs any or all board members to sign whatever documentation is required to facilitate prompt payment.
