Meeting Minutes

July 10th, 2019 06:00 PM at East Missoula Fire Department

Roll Call: Cyndie Winchell, Dusty Deschamp, Meggan Quigley, Paula Niccum.  Homeowner Doug Byrne also attended the meeting.

Approval of Minutes: Motion by Dusty to approve the minutes as posted on the website, seconded by Meggan, motion passed, minutes approved.

Financial Information:  Financial report read for the month of May.  Motion made to approve by Dusty, 2nd by Paula, motion carried, financial report approved.  

Public Input: None.

Old Business:

The Fontaine meter is not working, needs to be replaced with a new meter.  replacement attempted, but meter was faulty.  Barb has purchased 2 new meters and is weiting for a credit for the leaky meter that plumber had attempted to install at Fontaines.  

McMurray meter read high last month.  Paula and Barb went to run 5 gallon test.  Meter appeared to work ok, but no changes on the meter reader, test was run 3 times.  with no numerical change on reader.  Questioned whether the button needed replacement.  Cyndie has spare buttons & will go with Gary to  determine ned to replace and retest.

New Business:  Steve and Sherrie Postma donated a shed to the water board.  Gene Quillen moved the shed to the well lot.  The board agreed to issue a 1 month base use credit ($60)  for Postmas and Quillen. 

Wood skirting and bee spray for the donated shed was purchased by Ray Powell.  Padlocks that match other system locks are being made.  Painting date set for Monday 7.15 at 6 pm.

Barb made a call to check on tank maintenance, no reply received yet.  

Board issued a $200 credit to Tom Carrol for watering and mowing the well lot and $100 to Mike Huber for monthly putting out and taking down the meeting signs and mowing at the tank lot on the hill.
