A resolution authorizing an enhancement to sunny meadows well HEAD security
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF directors of the sunny meadows Missoula county water and sewer district:
WHEREAS, there have been a number of incidents over recent months in which unauthorized personnel have accessed various public utility properties throughout Montana; and
WHEREAS, as a direct result of those incidents, some Districts have incurred substantial additional expense; and
WHEREAS, in at least one case a boil order was instituted as a direct result of an incursion by unauthorized personnel; and
WHEREAS, Bitterroot Welding has submitted a bit of $900 (nine hundred dollars) for installing lock boxes on our well heads; and
WHEREAS, a small additional cost, estimated at under $100 (one hundred dollars) would be incurred for purchasing 2 additional locks for those well heads; and
WHEREAS, the District would benefit strongly from this issue being resolved.
THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, that the District authorize this upgrade to the well head security of the District.
