Old Business:

 There was no old business

New Business:

 The board members discussed occasional leaks in the water system on how they are generally

the result of old or weaken water lines from a curb stop to the residence. This has caused our

system water manager to chlorinate the system lately on a regular basis. Chlorination will go on

for maybe one more week and hopefully once the leak has been repaired we will longer have to

chlorinate the system. When there is a broken line in the system there is immediate

contamination. The board is asking that everyone check to make sure they have no leaks in and

around there property such as water seeping out of the ground or pools of water collecting along

the roadway or ditch. Contact one of the board members immediately if you notice any

problems. The longer a line is broken the more contamination that enters the water system.

Another water contamination area is the Back Flow device that prevents water from flowing

back into the main water system from your sprinkling system. This can allow some very

dangerous animal waste products etc. to seep into the system. Basically, any water line that has

been damaged in your water system can and will allow contaminants to enter the water system.

 For you people using the sewer system we recently had an electrical problem that has been

repaired. We want to thank Steve Postma for reporting that the system warning light was

flashing. His main concern was he didn’t want to see the system fail causing the sewer to back

up and flow into his yard or house. Good job Steve. Anyone witnessing one of the warning

lights on or flashing, whether it is around the water tank, the pump house, or the sewer pumphouse, please notify one of the board members.
