A resolution amending the district’s budget for the current fiscal year
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF directors of the sunny meadows Missoula county water and sewer district:
WHEREAS, the District has entered into a cooperative agreement with the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA); and
WHEREAS, the EPA has determined to reimburse all expenses the District incurs related to implementing a replacement well; and
WHEREAS, the District anticipates expending approximately $18,000 (eighteen thousand dollars); and
WHEREAS, no provision was made for these expenditures in the current fiscal year budget; and
WHEREAS, replacement of the existing well(s) is required for prudent management of the system.
THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, that the District appropriates the sum of $18,000 and directs the clerk/treasurer to allocate said amount to the following programs and objects.
