A resolution authorizing signature of contract with JTl
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF directors of the sunny meadows Missoula county water and sewer district:
WHEREAS, the District has solicited proposals for repair of two fire hydrants located within the District; and
WHEREAS, the District subsequently received 3 qualified proposals; and
WHEREAS, the District has determined that the proposal submitted by JTL most closely meets the requirements of the District; and
WHEREAS, the estimated cost to repair the fire hydrants is $7,431 (seven thousand four hundred thirty-one dollars); and
WHEREAS, that cost is only an estimate based on the best knowledge currently available; and
WHEREAS, the District must repair the fire hydrants as expeditiously as possible in the interest of the community.
THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, that the District authorize expenditure not to exceed $9,000 (nine thousand dollars) with JTL to repair the fire hydrants.
