A RESOLUTION TO SUBMIT A LOAN REQUEST TO THE STATE REVOLVING FUND
PROGRAM
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE SUNNY MEADOWS
MISSOULA COUNTY WATER AND SEWER DISTRICT:
WHEREAS, the District is pursuing a project to upgrade its water system; and
WHEREAS, the District has completed a Preliminary Engineering Report (PER) identifying specific
needs; and
WHEREAS, the District has submitted grant funding requests to the TSEP and DNRC/RRGL
programs; and
WHEREAS, the grant funds requested will not be sufficient to fund the entire proposed upgrade
project; and
WHEREAS, the District does not have sufficient cash reserves to pay the remainder of the project
costs; and
WHEREAS, the District’s proposed water use rates for the project based on grant funding applied for
will be approximately 200% of the state’s target rate for water use, if an SRF loan is approved.
THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, that the District shall apply at the appropriate time for a State
Revolving Fund loan in sufficient amount to complete the proposed upgrades, including a request for
hardship funding if available.
