Meeting Minutes

April 27th, 2023 06:00 PM at East Missoula Fire Department

Roll Call:  Dusty Deschamps, Cyndie Winchell, Meggan Quigley, Michael Bushey,Paula Niccum

Approval of Minutes: Dusty made a motion to approve minutes posted on the website, Cyndie seconded, motion carried and minutes approved.

Financial Information:  Meggan read the financial report for March from the county.  Paula made a motion to approve, Dusty seconded, motion carried and financials approved.

Public Input: None.

Old Business:

System-  Trenchless solutions is scheduled to do the drilling on May 8 and will contact concerned parties in advance using all available communication methods.

Mickelson plumbing is working on a bid to replace all of the piping inside of the well house.

Most meters have been installed. We needed two more 1 inch meters, they should arrive tomorrow. The technology for reading the meters should be implemented next.

Solar update- Solar power is still under consideration after other system improvements are complete.

 

Sewer-  Paula has contacted Browns septic to confirm they received payment for system inspection. They recommended pumping and Paula will email them to schedule pumping and will ask about help with our system if we need it. They can perform jetting and camera the lines when we need them too, estimated every 3 to 5 years.

SMS repeater service-  Michael has researched and found a service that will enable the board to send a group text to all service users..  We can notify everyone before each meeting, and also send users other information about the system.

New Business:

The SAM.gov registration has been renewed.

Sign duty:  May and June and July Cyndie. Signs may not be needed once the SMS repeater service is in place.
