Sunny Meadows Missoula County Water and Sewer District

Meeting Minutes

December 22nd, 2022 06:00 PM at East Missoula Fire Department

The meeting was held on Zoom due to extreme cold weather conditions.  The change of meeting notice and the zoom link was posted at the East Missoula Fire Station and on the website home page.

 

Roll Call:  Cyndie, Meggan, Michael, Dusty and Paula

Approval of Minutes:  A motion was made to approve the minutes as posted on the site.  Motion seconded and passed, minutes approved.

Financial Information:  November financial report from the county was read.  A motion to approve the minutes was made, seconded and passed and financials were approved.  

Public Input: None.

Old Business:

  • System upgrade project-  
  • Cyndie and Paula met with Great West and contractors to go over construction plans.  The diagonal drilling company is ready and waiting for a good weather window to perform the work.  When it looks promising they will contact the affected property owners with 24 hours notice if possible.  
  • Great west has nothing more to report this month.

New Business:

  • …Meggan has purchased a tablet for reading the new meters.  Julissa asked whether she would be able to take it home with her.  The board discussed and determined that the tablet should be left in the newly constructed well house.  There should be a place inside the well house where it can be left to charge between readings.  The board will also look into some kind of protective case for the tablet.
  • The board discussed replacing the mag meters in the well house while the other work is being done.  
    Dusty, Meggan and Cyndie will meet to complete census forms required by state.
  • Paula has sign duty for January and February.
