Meeting Minutes

January 13th, 2022 06:00 PM at East Missoula Fire Department

Roll Call: Cyndie Winchell, Dusty Deschamps, Michael Bushey, Paula Niccum

Approval of Minutes: Dusty made a motion to approve the minutes as posted on the website.  Michael seconded, motion carried and minutes approved.

Financial Information: Financial information for November read by Cyndie.  Dusty made a motion to approve, Paula seconded, motion carried and financials approved.

Public Input: None.

Old Business:

• ..Purchase of Quick Books still under consideration.
• Water use ordinances review on hold until spring.

New Business:

• …Elections:  Dusty and Cyndie’s terms expire this year.  They are both willing to fill the positions but all water system homeowners are encouraged to file for each position.  The filing is done at the elections office on Russell Street and needs to be completed by February 7.  If you are interested  but do not manage to file by the 7, there are other procedures to fill the positions so please inform the board if you would like to serve.  
• Project Update:  the engineering firm is getting close to a preliminary design.  They are hoping to attend the next board  meeting.
• Budget:  Work on the budget is in progress.  The engineering firm is assisting with it.
• Quarterly Chlorination:  Andy our system operator wants to do quarterly chlorinations and the board agrees that it is a good idea.
