Meeting Minutes

October 2nd, 2019 06:00 PM at East Missoula Fire Department

Roll Call: Barb Powell, Cyndie Winchell, Meggan Quiggley, Paula Niccum.

Approval of Minutes: Motion to approve minutes as posted on site made by Cyndie, seconded by Meggan, motion carried, minutes approved.

Financial Information:The county has not closed Fiscal Year 2019 yet.  Cyndie read the report from the county for June.  Motion by Paula, seconded by Meggan, report approved.  There were some charge card late fees in the report, it was determined to be caused by the delays in processing of transfers by the county.  Barb has requested electronic access for master card from Dave Hall, auditor to remedy the situation. 

They have had no success with attempting to clear out the drain from the vault.  Andy suggested trying to drill some drain holes in the bottom of the vault to see if that would work.  The board discussed it and agreed to authorize Andy to try it.  

Public Input: None.

Old Business:  Work on the tank is complete.  Chlorination will be discontinued when this dosage is complete.  Andy says there is some work that needs to be done on the float.  Caulking is complete, no light is visible from the inside of the tank.

Plumbers have been contacted to replace two, possibly three meters in the system.

New Business:  Julissa came to discuss her contract.  Her contract will be similar to Janet’s with similar compensation.  

 

The board discussed changing the meeting time and day.  Meetings can fall on Independence Day and New Years Day when they are held during the first week of the month.  The board wants to change meeting times to the second Thursday of the month at 6 p.m.  Notification will be made to members.
