Meeting Minutes

September 4th, 2019 06:00 PM at East Missoula Fire Department

Roll Call:  Barb Powell, Cyndie Winchell, Meggan Quigley, Dusty deschamps, Paula Niccum

New system members who purchased the Pummill home  Michael Bushey and Diana Fuentes and Andy Mefford from PCI also in attendance.

Approval of Minutes: Motion to approve minutes as posted on website made by Cyndie, seconded by Meggan, motion carried, minutes approved.

Financial Information: June report from county is not finalized, so no year end report available either.  

Public Input: None.

Old Business:

Andy Mefford gave update on system repair and improvement projects.  Most work complete, chlorination will end soon.  Tank divers have completed their work, tank looks good.  Caulking partially completed from the inside, but also needed to done from the outside.  They will be brought back to do some more.  Mixer installed and working well.  Andy is looking at ways to address the drainage of the vault next to the tank, possibly cleaning out the drain line, possibly diggin it up.  He suggested some other improvements in the spring such as making some of the manhole covers accessible, and improving the road to the tank.

New Business:

  • The Singers called Cyndie because they had low water pressure. Cyndie called Andy and he came to speakmwith them snd look at the problem.  Curb stop inaccessible.  There was a backhoe sighted at the residence before the start of the meeting.  After the meeting, Andy went to check on the Singer residence and the leak was found.It was on their side of the service to the house.  Water to the house was shut off, It will be repaired in the morning..
  • We have not received a contract from Julissa yet.  
  • The web site and domain name was aid for one month by Mike and Janet Lilley.  
  • Someone needs to be the contact person for the passwords and web page.  Key pass is the software.  Meggan agreed to be the contact person.
  • Director compensation was discussed.  Compensation for attendance  at meetings for fiscal year 2019, July 2018-June 2019 tallied by Paula, will be double checked.
