Sunny Meadows Missoula County Water and Sewer District

Meeting Minutes

May 1st, 2019 06:00 PM at East Missoula Fire Department

Roll Call: Barb Powell, Cyndie Winchell, Meggan Quigley, Dusty Deschamps, Paula Niccum.  Also in attendance was resedent Perry Hilderman.

Approval of Minutes:  Approval of minutes postponed until they could be posted on site.  Motion to approve will be made after review by all members via email.

Financial Information:  March financial report from county read by Cyndie.  One $30.00 ACH charge was questioned.  Cyndie will investigate, motion to approve will be made after investigation, possibly at next meeting.

Public Input: 

  • Perry Hilderman pointed out concerns with drainage from the hillside running down into the street.  Barb said the drain at the bottom of the hill had silted over and would not drain.  Board determined the situation to not be a Water Board responsibility, but agreed that residents should contact  the county commissioner.

Old Business: 

  • Repairs to the system will occur after chlorination is complete.

New Business:  

  • Discussion of sewer lot mowing- Should we pay Ray more money, or Find someone else to mow?  Options are being considered.
  • Fontaine meter needs to be replaced.  Janet did average billing for last statement.  New meters will be purchased. A line of credit has been established for purchasing, meters are Core & Main brand.  Daniels Plumbing will be hired to install. 

Adjournment:  A motion to adjourn was made by Dusty, seconded by Paula, motin carried, meeting adjourned.
