Roll Call:
Dusty Deschamps, Paula Niccum, Barb Powell, Kari Wafsted, Cyndie Winchell, Doug Byrne.
Approval of Minutes:
A motion was made by Kari and seconded by Barb to approve the minutes as posted on the website. Motion carried, minutes approved.
Financial Information:
Financials for March were read by Barb. Discussion about getting some clarification of categories from Janet for Barb. Motion to approve made by Kari, seconded by Cyndie. Motion carried, financials approved.

Old Business:
1. Burns Property Sale-
Cyndie was asked to provide her signature to the letter that was written by the board regarding the property’s status with regards to the sewer hookup.
2. Valve covers-
Paula is working on a valve cover for the pump house to protect the electrical equipment in case of any water spraying in the building.
3. Leak detection and DEQ-
Brian got confirmation of the extension from the DEQ to wait for testing until June. Testing should begin this month. DEQ has offered use of any equipment that might help detect the leak.
4. Sorenson meter replacement-
Cyndie had sent a message to Adam to replace the Sorenson meter. For some reason it didn’t happen for May. Cyndie re-issued the message and got confirmation of receipt. It should be replaced this month.
5. Sewer System Alert proposal-
Board continued discussion of the upgrade to the sewer system proposed by Adam at the last meeting. Estimated amounts are as follows:

Proposed cost to replace audible alarm on the existing community septic system. $200.00
Recommended Proposal to install new Cellular Alarm Omni Beacon at the Sewer pump house.
This unit would include the first year of cell and cloud service and then requires $144 per year thereafter. Unit does not require any phone service or wire. Provides emergency call out functions and remote operation status of the station. $850.00
Proposal to install new Cellular Alarm Omni Beacon at the well pump house. If you replaced the current phone line alarm dialer system with this unit they would both/all be integrated into one simple cloud-based set-up and also allow for systems monitoring remotely. The current phone service for the Wellhouse would not be needed. $900.00
Proposal cost to contract with PEI for regular inspection and maintenance of the existing community sewer/septic system: provide experienced personnel to inspect and verify function and condition of the system and test operation. Record a log of maintenance and inspections, twice per year. $200.00
New Business:
1. Bond Payment-
A motion was made to pass resolution 2017-5 authorizing payment of our bond by Dusty and seconded by Kari. Motion carried, resolution passed.
2. Meter Reader position-
Janet would like to subcontract Brian Hensel’s daughter to read the meters for the system. She would pay her, we would not have an employee, we were just asked to discuss it at the meeting Board will inform Janet that we see no problem with the idea.
3. Power outage at the well pump house-
A car hit a power pole across the highway from the well pump house, causing a power outage of about 3-4 hours. Brian responded, the chlorinator was turned on.
4. Sewer lot mowing-
Adam mowed the lot twice this year, mowed high and then dropped to re-mow a few days later. Cyndie will speak to him to make sure he knows the maximum amount the board has approved to pay is $400.00/yr.
