Backflow Preventers

The District Board would like to thank all residents for their help in complying with this request from DEQ in a timely manner. We are pleased to announce that all the installations have been completed and inspected.

As a reminder, while the backflow preventer between your residence and the system helps protect everyone else on the system from any potential contamination from your house or yard, if you have or add a sprinkler system, or if you leave hoses lying in the dirt, a backflow preventer between your house and the sprinklers and/or hoses will protect your house from any contamination possibly originating in your yard.

Here are some pictures of two of the installations some of our residents have done to comply with the DEQ requested addition of backflow preventers on every service line. The District would like to thank these residents for allowing us to provide these to you, and for their quick response to the request.
