Sunny Meadows Missoula County Water & Sewer District

Board Meeting

December 2nd, 2011

Board Members Present

• Cyndie Winchell, Mike Huber, Mike Lilley, Paula Niccum, & Tom Walter 

Roll Call:

• Cyndie Winchell called the meeting to order at 7:00 PM.

Approval of the Minutes: 

• There were no minutes. These minutes will be read at the next meeting. 

Financial Report: 

• Cyndie approved the financial report and Paula Niccum seconded. 

Public Input:

• There was no public input.

Old Business:

• We discussed some minor book keeping procedures we were concerned with. 

• System Recommendations—Discussed again was Backflow Preventers. We

discussed how we would present this to the home owners and a possible deadline

as to when they would be expected to be installed. Also discussed was the

installation of the Preventers and what participation the board would partake in

delegating this new procedure. On the same subject it was discussed if you had a

back flow device on the main water line coming into the house would a

homeowner need a Backflow Device on their sprinkling system also. It was

determined that there would have to be one on each to keep the system clean. 

• As we dwell into the matter of where possible contamination is entering the water

system there has been some detection of improperly installed metered

installations. The board will continue to research this situation.New Business:

• Annual Financial Report—Paula move to accept the Annual financial report and

Mike Lilley seconded. 

• Bond Payment—Mike Huber moved and Paula seconded to pass a resolution to

submit the payment to the county.
