A resolution authorizing compensation for owners of certain real properties within the district
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF directors of the sunny meadows Missoula county water and sewer district:
WHEREAS, the District is involved in a variety of upgrade and maintenance projects; and
WHEREAS, in order to complete those projects, the District has encumbered properties owned by the Morrow and Engelstad families; and
WHEREAS, the Morrow and Engelstad families have been most cooperative with the District; and
WHEREAS, the District wishes to express its appreciation for their cooperation;.
THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, that the District authorizes a recurring credit for the Morrow and Engelstad families subject to the conditions listed below:

The credit will apply to water usage above the basic amount provided in the normal base charge.

The credit will be for up to $50/month, based on the amount used above the base charge. To clarify, see this table:
Normal Invoice
Amount Charged with Credit
Up to the base amount.
Base rate.
Base amount + usage up to $50 over base amount.
Base rate.
Base amount + usage over $50 over base amount.
Normal invoice – $50.

The credit is non-transferrable, and may only be applied within a single month.

If either property is sold or otherwise transferred, the credit will be eliminated.

The credit will be available for up to 20 years from May 1, 2008, subject to above restrictions.

The credit may only be applied if the account is otherwise in good standing.

The credit has no cash value, and may only be applied to bills issued by the District.
