Sunny Meadows Missoula County Water and Sewer District<\/h2>\n

Meeting Minutes<\/h2>\n

April 24th, 2025 06:00 PM at East Missoula Fire Department<\/h3>\n

Roll Call: Cyndie Winchell, Paula Niccum, Michael Bushey, Dusty Deschamps, Meggan Quigley (attended via phone). \u00a0Doug Byrne also attended.<\/span><\/p>\n

Approval of Minutes: Cyndie made a motion to approve the minutes, Meggan seconded and motion carried, minutes approved.<\/span><\/p>\n

Financial Information: Meggan read the financial report for March. \u00a0There were some charges that require more information, Cyndie is going to investigate. \u00a0A vote to approve will be taken after she gets answers.<\/span><\/p>\n

Public Input:<\/span> \u00a0Doug Byrne and Dusty will get together so Doug can sign the easement document for access to the portion of the water line that runs through his property.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Old Business: \u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Work on the well pumps has been completed, pumps have been tagged and Amy is working on providing as built and manuals as requested, Cyndie has requested the remaining balance of our grant.<\/span><\/p>\n<\/div>\n

The board discussed switching to monthly billing during the winter months that are currently billed quarterly. \u00a0This was suggested so that we would be able to detect leaks earlier. \u00a0Doug Byrne asked whether we could just read the meters monthly and still bill quarterly. \u00a0This would save the expense of \u00a0process the bills monthly and still enable us to monitor leaks. \u00a0Dusty made a motion to read meters monthly and continue to bill quarterly. \u00a0Michael seconded, motion carried and approved.<\/strong><\/p>\n

The board received a bid for continuation of work on the sewer system that was started in 2020. \u00a0Cyndie will research how much was done and how much remains to be done before the board approves the bid.<\/strong><\/p>\n

The septic tank at the sewer lot has been pumped and invoice has been paid.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Cyndie has completed the SAM.gov 2025 website renewal.<\/strong><\/p>\n

New Business:<\/span><\/p>\n

There was an alarm at the well house. \u00a0Cyndie went to cancel it locally and followed up with a call to Mike Neeley to look at the telemetry system. \u00a0He checked it out and said that the company was no longer in business and there was no support. \u00a0He said it would be expensive to replace the system. \u00a0The board is researching options.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Cyndie and Paula will post more no parking signs on the well lot fence.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Dusty and Michael will remove the shed on the well lot.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Adjournment: Paula made a motion to adjourn, Michael seconded and motion carried, meeting was adjourned.<\/span><\/p>\n
