Meeting Minutes<\/h2>\n

November 21st, 2024 06:00 PM at East Missoula Fire Department<\/h3>\n

Roll Call:\u00a0 Dusty Deschamps, Meggan Quigley, Michael Bushey, Cyndie Winchell, Paula Niccum<\/span><\/p>\n

Approval of Minutes:\u00a0 Dusty made a motion to approve the minutes draft posted on the site, Cyndie seconded.\u00a0 Motion carried and minutes approved.<\/span><\/p>\n

Financial Information:\u00a0 Meggan read the financial report for October.\u00a0 Brennan is doing a great job and all bills are paid on time with no late fees.\u00a0 Some users are in excess of 90 days behind on their water bill.\u00a0 They will be sent a letter and then Cyndie will make a follow up call before we have to shut them off as required by our ordinances.<\/span><\/p>\n

Old Business:\u00a0 Project Update<\/span><\/p>\n

The well pumps have been replaced.\u00a0 Engineers recommended installing additional equipment to reduce wear and tear on the pumps and piping.\u00a0 One option cast $30,000 which was beyond our resources.\u00a0 The other was to install flow restrictors and cost $3000.\u00a0 Our engineers assured us that the $3000 solution would be effective.\u00a0 Paula made a motion to approve the $3000 option, Dusty seconded, motion carried and approved.<\/strong><\/p>\n

The board discussed placing barriers around the French drains at the well house to keep people from driving over them.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Amy is looking for a new chlorinator and ozone water (leak) detector to purchase.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Illegal water hookups on the system have been corrected.\u00a0 Dusty drafted property easments for each property owner affected by the repairs.<\/strong><\/p>\n

New Business:<\/span><\/p>\n

Resolution 2024-09 ARPA draw request #16 to compensate Chris Rate\/Ground Breaking Construction for correcting the illegal hookups.\u00a0 Dusty made a motion to approve, Paula seconded, motion carried and resolution approved.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Resolution 2024-10 Donation to East Missoula Fire station-\u00a0 Dusty made a motion\u00a0 to donate $350.00 to the East Missoula Fire Department for use of their facility as a meeting place.\u00a0 Paula seconded, motion carried and resolution approved.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Resolution 2024-11 Director Compensation-\u00a0 Michael made a motion to compensate all directors $30.00 for each meeting attended during fiscal year 24.\u00a0 Dusty seconded, motion carried and resolution approved.<\/strong><\/p>\n
