Sunny Meadows Missoula County Water and Sewer District<\/h1>\n

Meeting Minutes<\/h2>\n

December 28th, 2023 06:00 PM at East Missoula Fire Department<\/h3>\n

Roll Call:\u00a0 Meggan Quigley, Cyndie Winchell, Paula Niccum<\/span><\/p>\n

Approval of Minutes:\u00a0 Meggan made a motion to approve the November 23 minutes as posted on the website, Cyndie seconded.\u00a0 Motion carried, minutes approved.<\/span><\/p>\n

Financial Information:\u00a0 Meggan read reports from the county for October and November 2023.\u00a0 Some things need to be checked with our bookkeeper.\u00a0 Cyndie will address these.\u00a0 Motion to aprove made by Cyndie, seconded by Paula.\u00a0 Motion carried, financial reports approved.<\/span><\/p>\n

Old Business:\u00a0\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Project update-\u00a0 Still waiting for completion of some tasks by the contractor working on the well lot building before the plumber can complete their work.\u00a0 Discussed assessing liquidated damages until work is complete.\u00a0 Cyndie said she would talk to Dusty & possibly another county lawyer.\u00a0 <\/span><\/p>\n

Website overhaul-\u00a0 Mike Lilley has agreed to update our website and because of the functions our website performs we have been able to get approval tu us ARPA contingency funds.\u00a0 \u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

SMS Notification issues-\u00a0 Next month the board will divide up the resident contact list among the members and contact everyone to get a cell phone number for every household.<\/span><\/p>\n

Solar Panels-\u00a0 on hold for future consideration<\/span><\/p>\n

Generator-\u00a0 on hold for future consideration<\/span><\/p>\n

New Business:<\/span><\/p>\n

SOW documentation-\u00a0 The board has begun work on Scope of Work documents for contractors.\u00a0 <\/strong><\/p>\n

Resolution 2023-14 to make Bond payment WRF-23522.\u00a0 Motion made, seconded and passed to approve payment of the bond.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Resolution 2023-15 to make Bond payment WSRF-09128.\u00a0 Motion made, seconded and passed to approve payment of the bond.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Resolution 2023-15 to make a $350.00 donation to the East Missoula Fire Department.\u00a0 Motion made, seconded and passed to approve the donation.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Signage for the Sewer lot-\u00a0 The board discussed posting no parking signage for the sewer lot on Edgewood to prevent summer floaters from parking on our drainfield.\u00a0 Fencing the lot was also discussed.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Ferguson Training-\u00a0 Miquelle, the sales rep for Ferguson Water Works has left their employ.\u00a0 Cyndie has contaced Ferguson and they assure us we will continue to get all the training we need.\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n
