2023-03-23"},"content":{"rendered":"<h1>Sunny Meadows Missoula County Water and Sewer District<\/h1>\n<h2>Meeting Minutes<\/h2>\n<h3>March 23rd, 2023 06:00 PM at East Missoula Fire Department<\/h3>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold;\">Roll Call: \u00a0Cyndie Winchel, Meggan Quigley, Dusty Deschamps, Michael Bushey, Paula Niccum<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold;\">Andy Mefford, System Water Operator attended the meeting so we met with him first before conducting usual and regular business. \u00a0He plans to attend the board meeting once per year, probably January to touch base with the board. \u00a0We discussed reviewing and updating his contract. \u00a0We requested that PCI invoices have more specific details when he provides extra services in addition to the usual, reasonable and customary monthly activities. \u00a0This will help the board identify the charges on our financial reports. \u00a0We discussed the functioning of the Sewer lot and what functions of that system he would continue to perform. \u00a0He has been doing basic pump checks and readings when he is in the area performing other duties. \u00a0He will continue to perform those functions. \u00a0We discussed hiring Brown\u2019s Septic for system maintenance tasks. \u00a0They already perform our tank pumping every other year. \u00a0In addition we agreed that it would be good to have them pull the manholes and perform a visual inspection every year, jet clean the sewer lines every three to five years based on the visual inspection, and to tv camera the lines after they have been jetted. \u00a0We would also like them to become familiar with the alarm system for the sewer pump house and to be available for call outs to address alarms on the sewer system.<\/p>\n<p><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold;\">Approval of Minutes: \u00a0Dusty made a motion to approve the minutes as posted on the website, Michael seconded, motion carried and minutes approved.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold;\">Financial Information: \u00a0Meggan read the February report from the county, corrects were made, Paula made a motion to approve, Dusty seconded, motion carried and minutes approved.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold;\">Public Input:<\/span> None.<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold;\">Old Business:<\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Project update: \u00a0The fence bid for the well house lot is in. \u00a0<br \/>Ryan with Great West has been in touch with Trenchless Solutions. \u00a0Will contact them to get a bid to open up the drain that comes off of the vault from the tank and booster station on the hill. \u00a0They are also\u00a0exploring back up power sources for the system. \u00a0<br \/>The board will ask Great West to get a bid to replace the piping on the inside of the well house after two valve failures this winter. \u00a0<\/li>\n<li>Michael will research an SMS callout system for text notifications that can go out to all users of the system.<\/li>\n<li>The Omni Beacon for the Sewer system has been removed, sent for repairs, repaired and re-installed by Gary and Cynde Winchell. \u00a0A motion was made by Dusty, seconded by Paula and approved to give Gary Winchell a water credit of $60.00 for work performed on the Omni Beacon.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold;\">New Business:<\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Meter and Radio installation- All ordered meters have arrived, some radios are also in.<\/li>\n<li>Solar panel bid- The bid has been received, more discussion to follow.<\/li>\n<li>Sign duty- \u00a0March and April- Dusty<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold;\">Adjournment:<\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Motion to adjourn made
