Sunny Meadows Missoula County Water and Sewer District<\/h1>\n

Meeting Minutes<\/h2>\n

November 17th, 2022 06:00 PM at East Missoula Fire Department<\/h3>\n

Roll Call:\u00a0 Cyndie Winchell, Meggan Quigley, Michael Bushey, Dusty Deschamps, Paula Niccum.\u00a0 Doug Byrne also attended the meeting.<\/span><\/p>\n

Approval of Minutes:\u00a0 \u00a0A motion to approve the minutes was made, seconded and passed and the minutes approved.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Financial Information:\u00a0 October financial report from the county was read.\u00a0 A motion to approve the report was made & seconded, motion carried and financial report approved.<\/span><\/p>\n

Public Input:<\/span> None.<\/p>\n

Old Business:\u00a0 System improvement project items will be discussed in new business.<\/span><\/p>\n

New Business:\u00a0\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

A resolution donate $350.00 to the East Missoula Fire Department for use of the station as a meting place was discussed.\u00a0 \u00a0A motion to donate was made & seconded, motion carried and donation approved.\u00a0 Resolution #2022-10<\/span><\/p>\n

A resolution to compensate Directors for meetings was discussed.\u00a0 Motion was made, seconded and approved to pay directors for all meetings attended in fy 2021-2022.\u00a0 Resolution #2022-11<\/span><\/p>\n

A resolution to authorized the ARPA (American Rescue Plan Act) grant drawdown request was discussed.\u00a0 Purpose of draw is to pay invoice for $5364.57 from Great West Engineering.\u00a0 A motion to approve the draw was made, seconded & motion carried, draw approved.\u00a0 Resolution #2022-12<\/span><\/p>\n

A resolution to purchase new meters, radios and the equipment needed to read them was discussed.\u00a0 Our meters are old and we have been encouraged to take advantage of the ARPA funds to replace them.\u00a0 A motion was made, seconded and carried and the purchase of meters was approved.\u00a0 Resolution # 2022-13<\/span><\/p>\n

A resolution to authorize payment of $6500.00 to Dorsey & Whitney LLP to prepare the Series 2022 Water Revenue Bond was discussed.\u00a0 \u00a0The District has applied for and will recieve a loan from\u00a0 the SRF (State Revolving Fund) through the DNRC (Department of Natural Resources and Conservation) for the amount of $50.000.00 and a bond will be created.\u00a0 A motion to pay for the bond preparation was made, seconded and carried, payment was approved.\u00a0 Resolution #2022-14<\/span><\/p>\n

A resolution to deposit $434.00 to the District Debt reserve account as requrired by the SRF to be held until the loan is paid in full was discussed.\u00a0 A motion was made, seconded and carried, deposit approved.\u00a0 Resolution #2022-15<\/span><\/p>\n

There will be a pre-construction meeting with Great West, Board Members and the Contractors for the first phase of the project at the East Missoula Fire District Station on Tuesday Nov 29 at 11:00 am.\u00a0\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n
