Sunny Meadows Missoula County Water and Sewer District<\/h1>\n

Meeting Minutes<\/h2>\n

August 25th, 2022 06:00 PM at East Missoula Fire Department<\/h3>\n

Roll Call: Meggan Quigley, Michael Bushey, Cyndie Winchell, Dusty Deschmps, Paula Niccum<\/span><\/p>\n

The Hansens from Lerch Lane also attended the meeting.<\/span><\/p>\n

Approval of Minutes:\u00a0A motion was made, seconded and passed to approve the minutes as posted on the site.<\/span><\/p>\n

Financial Information: Meggan read the first financial report for the new fiscal year.\u00a0 Dusty moved to approve, Michael seconded, motion carried and financial report approved.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Public Input:<\/span> None.<\/p>\n

Old Business:<\/span><\/p>\n

The board collectively went through the budget projections required by the state line by line and agreed on budget projections for this fiscal year.\u00a0 Dusty made a motion to approve the budget projections, Michael Bushey seconded, motion carried and budget projections approved.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Burns meter was replaced.<\/span><\/p>\n

Cyndie will be meeting with Julissa to fine tune the meter reading process.\u00a0 Availlable board members will participate if they are available.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

New Business:\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Ryan from Great West came to the meeting to discuss the progress on bids for the progress.\u00a0 There are two bids on the progress at present, one is over estimate and one under.\u00a0 The next step is to determine if the bidders have the qualifications to do the work, then the board can discuss and vote on bid to be accepted.<\/span><\/p>\n

Cyndie has been printing many documents related to the system improvement project.\u00a0 Reimbursing her for paper and ink was discussed.\u00a0 Dusty made a motion to replenish her printing paper and ink, the motion was seconded and passed.\u00a0\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

We have been unable to hire someone to cut down the weeds at the storage tank lot on the hill.\u00a0 Meggan went up and worked on the weeds twice and the board discussed.\u00a0 We would like to be ab le to hire someone to do weed trimming 3 times per season.\u00a0 Dusty made a motion to issue Meggan a bill credit for the time she spent trimming the weeds (est. 6 hours).\u00a0 Michael seconded, motion carried and she will be issued a bill credit.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Paula had some questions as to whether the contact information that appears on the water invoices was accurate.\u00a0 It may just be misspelling, Paula will research and share what she finds out with the board and Julissa.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n
