{"id":16643,"date":"2021-03-11T18:00:00","date_gmt":"2021-03-12T01:00:00","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.sunnymeadowswater.com\/?p=16643"},"modified":"2021-03-11T18:00:00","modified_gmt":"2021-03-12T01:00:00","slug":"minutes-2021-03-11","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.sunnymeadowswater.com\/?p=16643","title":{"rendered":"Minutes 2021-03-11"},"content":{"rendered":"<h1>Sunny Meadows Missoula County Water and Sewer District<\/h1>\n<h2>Meeting Minutes\u00a0\u00a0<\/h2>\n<h3>March 11th, 2021 06:00 PM <span style=\"text-decoration: line-through;\">at East Missoula Fire Department<\/span><\/h3>\n<p><em><strong>MEETING HELD ON ZOOM DUE TO COVID.\u00a0 Link can be found on home page of website.<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold;\">Roll Call:\u00a0<\/span>Cyndie Winchell, Meggan Quigley, Dusty Deschamps, Michael Bushey, Paula Niccum<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold;\">Approval of Minutes:\u00a0\u00a0<\/span>Motion made by Dusty and seconded by Cyndie to\u00a0v the meeting minutes as posted on the website.\u00a0 Motion carried, minutes approved.<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold;\">Financial Information:\u00a0\u00a0<\/span>Meggan read the financials for January.\u00a0 Dusty moved to approve, Michael seconded, motion carried &amp; minutes approved.<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold;\">Public Input:<\/span> None.\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold;\">Old Business:<\/span><\/p>\n<p>Storage shed work on hold.<\/p>\n<p>Tank lot clean up on hold<\/p>\n<p>Water ordinance review on hold<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold;\">New Business:<\/span><\/p>\n<p>While researching options for system repairs and improvement, Cyndie contacted Craig Pozega with Great West Engineering,<b><i>\u00a0<\/i><\/b>the firm that wrote our original PER (Professional Engineering Report).\u00a0 Craig came to the meeting to discuss how to proceed with system improvements and funding.\u00a0 The board would have to take a number of steps including:\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>update or new PER<\/li>\n<li>Analysis of system deficiencies and alternatives to repair and\u00a0sources of funding for the project(s)<\/li>\n<li>Craig said that his firm was very familiar working with the State Revolving Fund, DNRC, DEQ and Tsep to secure assistance with funding.\u00a0 Since we have an existing relationship with his firm, he offered to help us with funding, planning and grant application, bond elections etc. free of charge.\u00a0\u00a0<\/li>\n<li>To get the project completed, the board would have to solicit bids, rank and choose a firm.\u00a0 The choice would be based on qualifications and price.<\/li>\n<li>The board discussed working in coordination with our current system operator, Andy Mefford from PCI.\u00a0 We agreed to meet with Andy the following week to discuss the project.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Clint Dack from Northwestern Energy spoke to the board about replacing the power line to the storage tank.\u00a0 They would like to use the road and it may include some improvements.\u00a0 The option would be to bore the line, it is tougher to do.\u00a0 This would all be done at no cost to the district, the board will discuss and respond.<\/p>\n<p>Julissa received a form requesting information from the U.S. Census Bureau.\u00a0 Dusty will request the link from Julissa and follow up.<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold;\">Adjournment:<\/span><\/p>\n<p>Motion to adjourn made by Dusty, seconded by Michael.\u00a0 Motion carried, minutes adjourned.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>District Website: http:\/\/www.sunnymeadowswater.com\/<\/li>\n<li>Respectfully submitted by Paula Niccum<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Sunny Meadows Missoula County Water and Sewer District Meeting Minutes\u00a0\u00a0 March 11th, 2021 06:00 PM at East Missoula Fire Department MEETING HELD ON ZOOM DUE TO COVID.\u00a0 Link can be found on home page of website.
