Sunny Meadows Missoula County Water and Sewer District<\/h1>\n

Meeting Minutes<\/h2>\n

December 10th, 2020 06:00 PM at East Missoula Fire Department<\/h3>\n

Roll Call:\u00a0 Cyndie Winchell, Meggan Quigley, Dusty Deschamps, Michael Bushey, Paula Niccum.<\/span><\/p>\n

Approval of Minutes:\u00a0 Motion to approve the minutes which were posted on the website for review was made by Dusty and seconded by Meggan.\u00a0 Motion carried, minutes approved.<\/span><\/p>\n

Financial Information:\u00a0 No November finalcial report recieve from county.\u00a0 Meggan and Julissa spend a lot of time catching up past financial information.<\/span><\/p>\n

Linode charge for website has been charged monthly, board would like to pay yearly with credit card.\u00a0\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Annual financial report to the state:\u00a0 Recent years have been a long version.\u00a0 Since we are a small district, we should be able to do a more streamlined version.\u00a0 This has been done, submitted and approved.\u00a0 Julissa has bee a great help.<\/span><\/p>\n

Meggan is working on a template for the yearly budget.\u00a0\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Old Business:<\/span><\/p>\n

Cyndie spoke to Anna Miller with the State Revolving Fund to ask about help with our loan.\u00a0 Anna wants to meet with Cyndie and Andy to go over loan paperwork.\u00a0 There may be a chance when the loan paperwork is completed to get partial loan forgiveness on the existing loan.\u00a0 The paperwork needs to be completed sometime next spring.<\/span><\/p>\n

There was a discussion of the tool use that was brought up at the last meeting.\u00a0 Homeowners have access to shut off water to their house at the curb box using tools that belong to the district.\u00a0 However, this requires getting in touch with board members which is not always possible at short notice.\u00a0 Homeowners can also have their own tools to shut off the water service at the curb box.\u00a0 Most system members should be able to shut off inside most residences.\u00a0 T<\/span>he concern came from one of the homeowners who have more than one meter. one for water inside the house and one for outside of the house for irrigations.\u00a0 It is probably not a concern for most system users.<\/span><\/p>\n

Easement documents are being processed and mailed to the District P.O. box.<\/span><\/p>\n

Paula is working to post photos of the sewer system maintenance project.\u00a0 Michael may also try to post the photos on the home page.<\/span><\/p>\n

New Business:<\/span><\/p>\n

Julissa is currently working from home and lives outside fo Missoula.\u00a0 The board is looking at enabling digital signatures of board members to facilitate submission of documents to the coundy.\u00a0 Michael was asked to research options for this.<\/span><\/p>\n
