Sunny Meadows Missoula County Water and Sewer District<\/h1>\n

Meeting Minutes<\/h2>\n

August 13th, 2020 06:00 PM at East Missoula Fire Department<\/h3>\n

*meeting was held at the well lot at Sunnyside and Highway 200.<\/em><\/p>\n

Roll Call:Dusty, Cyndie, Meggan, Michael, Paula<\/span><\/p>\n

Approval of Minutes:\u00a0 Dusty moved to approve the minutes as osted on the website, Cyndie seconded, motion carried and minutes approved.<\/span><\/p>\n

New Business<\/span><\/p>\n

Andy Mefford, our water system operator from PCI came to the meeting to discuss recent system repairs and propose repairs for the system.\u00a0 The system had to replace a section of water supply line servicing three houses behind the homes oon the north side of Lerch Lane.\u00a0 The line has needed repairs in the past and should probably be replaced.\u00a0 Andy is going to look at it and bring us a proposal with a preferred route for the next meeting. He also brought an estimate for three proposed repairs to be made to the water storage tank on the hill. The repairs are adding a inline check valve at the overflow, replacing the existing expansion tank and installing a filter around the storage tank roof vent.\u00a0 The board discussed the repairs and decided to install the storage tank roof vent filter and inspect the expansion tank, then evaluate whether other repairs are needed.\u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

The board also discussed maintenance on the septic system.\u00a0 The tank will be pumped this year.\u00a0 In addition, Andy will be arranging for the inspection of all manholes and jetting the sewer lines when it can be scheduled.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Andy will also be bringing a list of future repairs, develop a call list of contractors to help with work on the district and suggested procedures to follow for future short notice repairs.<\/span><\/p>\n

The motion to approve the repairs to the storage tank on the hill was made by Dusty, seconded by Meggan and passed by the board.\u00a0\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Financial Information:\u00a0 Financial information will be reviewed at the next meeting.<\/span><\/p>\n

  4. Credit card use discussion ongoing.<\/li>\n
  5. Discuss changing the first page of the website to reflect current items.\u00a0 (Sptember)<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n
