Sunny Meadows Missoula County Water and Sewer District<\/h1>\n

Meeting Minutes<\/h2>\n

October 2nd, 2019 06:00 PM at East Missoula Fire Department<\/h3>\n

Roll Call: Barb Powell, Cyndie Winchell, Meggan Quiggley, Paula Niccum.<\/span><\/p>\n

Approval of Minutes: Motion to approve minutes as posted on site made by Cyndie, seconded by Meggan, motion carried, minutes approved.<\/span><\/p>\n

Financial Information:The county has not closed Fiscal Year 2019 yet.\u00a0 Cyndie read the report from the county for June.\u00a0 Motion by Paula, seconded by Meggan, report approved.\u00a0 There were some charge card late fees in the report, it was determined to be caused by the delays in processing of transfers by the county.\u00a0 Barb has requested electronic access for master card from Dave Hall, auditor to remedy the situation.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

They have had no success with attempting to clear out the drain from the vault.\u00a0 Andy suggested trying to drill some drain holes in the bottom of the vault to see if that would work.\u00a0 The board discussed it and agreed to authorize Andy to try it.\u00a0\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Public Input:<\/span> None.<\/p>\n

Old Business:\u00a0 Work on the tank is complete.\u00a0 Chlorination will be discontinued when this dosage is complete.\u00a0 Andy says there is some work that needs to be done on the float.\u00a0 Caulking is complete, no light is visible from the inside of the tank.<\/span><\/p>\n

Plumbers have been contacted to replace two, possibly three meters in the system.<\/span><\/p>\n

New Business:\u00a0 Julissa came to discuss her contract.\u00a0 Her contract will be similar to Janet’s with similar compensation.\u00a0\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

\u00a0<\/p>\n

The board discussed changing the meeting time and day.\u00a0 Meetings can fall on Independence Day and New Years Day when they are held during the first week of the month.\u00a0 The board wants to change meeting times to the second Thursday of the month at 6 p.m.\u00a0 Notification will be made to members.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n
