{"id":16549,"date":"2018-08-01T18:00:00","date_gmt":"2018-08-02T01:00:00","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.sunnymeadowswater.com\/?p=16549"},"modified":"2018-08-01T18:00:00","modified_gmt":"2018-08-02T01:00:00","slug":"minutes-2018-08-01","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.sunnymeadowswater.com\/?p=16549","title":{"rendered":"Minutes 2018-08-01"},"content":{"rendered":"<h1>Sunny Meadows Missoula County Water and Sewer District<\/h1>\n<h2>Meeting Minutes<\/h2>\n<h3>August 1st, 2018 06:00 PM at East Missoula Fire Department<\/h3>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold;\">Roll Call: \u00a0Barb Powell, Paula Niccum, Dusty Deschamps, Kari Wafsted.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold;\">New Business: \u00a0Andy Mefford\u00a0\u00a0from PCI came to meet the board. \u00a0Adam Pummil was also in attendance.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold;\">Andy gave his background and experience in running public water systems. \u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold;\">The board had some questions:<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold;\">The system received a letter from DEQ about a state wide\u00a0<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: bold;\">waiver program. \u00a0Andy said all systems were recieving them. More details to follow.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold;\">3 board members had received tank alarm texts late Monday night and the following Tuesday morning. \u00a0The board discussed making sure Andy and Adam were on the callout list. \u00a0There was furthher discussion about prioritizing the call out list so Andy and Adam would be notified first and the board members second. \u00a0Matt from Neeley Electric has been asked to update the call out information.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold;\">The board asked for Andy\u2019s opinion on the suggestions from the DEQ regarding landscaping cloth and rock around the wellheads, a backup generator for the system, and the need to install sample taps for water system. \u00a0None of these suggestions will be pursued at the present time. \u00a0He did suggest pouring a concrete flootr in the well house, it is currently a mix of dirt and gravel. \u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold;\">Leak detection- \u00a0Andy would like to pull past records of water use and compile new data for a year and observe the data trends to look for indications of leaks.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold;\">We thanked him\u00a0for coming to our meeting and resumed the regular order of meetings:<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold;\">Approval of Minutes: \u00a0\u00a0Motion\u00a0made by Dusty, seconded by Barb, motion carried, minutes approved.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold;\">\u00a0Financial Information: May financials read by Barb, motion made by Dusty to approve, seconded by Paula, motion carried, financials approved.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold;\">Public Input:<\/span> None.<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold;\">Old Business: None<\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>&#8230;<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold;\">New Business: \u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold;\">Singer leak- Adam had installed a meter in the Singer residence a couple of years ago. \u00a0A plumber performed some work at the residence and thought the meter should have been installed differently. \u00a0The plumber did not correct the work while he was there.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold;\">Resolution for payment of board members to be tabled until\u00a0\u00a0next meeting.
