{"id":16527,"date":"2017-12-06T18:00:00","date_gmt":"2017-12-07T01:00:00","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.sunnymeadowswater.com\/?p=16527"},"modified":"2017-12-06T18:00:00","modified_gmt":"2017-12-07T01:00:00","slug":"minutes-2017-12-06","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.sunnymeadowswater.com\/?p=16527","title":{"rendered":"Minutes 2017-12-06"},"content":{"rendered":"<h1>Sunny Meadows Missoula County Water and Sewer District<\/h1>\n<h2>Meeting Minutes<\/h2>\n<h3>December 6th, 2017 06:00 PM at East Missoula Fire Department<\/h3>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold;\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold;\">Roll Call: Cyndie, Barb, Kari, Paula, Dusty.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold;\">Approval of Minutes: Minutes not posted on site yet, will be voted on at January 2018 meeting.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold;\">Financial Information: Barb read September financial report. \u00a0Motion made to approve by Kari, seconded by Dusty, motion carried, financials approved.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold;\">Public Input:<\/span>\u00a0None.<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold;\">Old Business:\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Cyndie \u00a0is still working on securing workers compensation for meter reader. \u00a0It should be complete by next meeting.<\/li>\n<li>Board has been having problems with delays of claim payment and claims being lost. \u00a0The board is now submitting claims directly to the county office and will be checking regularly to document whether payments are being made in a timely manner.<\/li>\n<li>Cyndie is in the process of establishing a line of credit for the purchase of new meters and will update board at next meeting.<\/li>\n<li>Paula is hoping to be able to cut stencils soon so meeting signs can be repainted.<\/li>\n<li>There have \u00a0 been some questions about how often the pumps cycle in the booster house and how much water demand causes the pumps to come on. \u00a0Barb and Cyndie are going to read the meters of the houses on the hill on Saturday and then take a reading in the booster house. \u00a0The booster house reading will be taken again on the same day as the next meter reading so the board can compare numbers and continue tracking them if necessary.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold;\">New Business:<\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Barb wrote up a resolution to pay our bond. \u00a0The resolution was read by Cyndie, a motion to approve payment was made by Paula, seconded by Dusty, motion passed and \u00a0resolution for payment approved.<\/li>\n<li>Paula asked if the board members needed to respond to texts received by the new automated system. \u00a0All alarms should be handled by the system operator.<\/li>\n<li>Cyndie suggested that we put a notice in the next bill about all system residents watching out for unauthorized users hooking up to our system. \u00a0Non system members were caught trying to fill a tanker truck from one of our hydrants last summer. \u00a0The board\u2019s position is that we are not in the business of selling our water, it is for the residents and users on our system.\u00a0<\/li>\n<li>Board elections are coming up with one possible vacancy.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold;\">\u00a0Adjournment:<\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Motion to adjourn made by Paula, seconded by Dusty. \u00a0Motion carried, meeting adjourned.<\/li>\n<li>District Website: http:\/\/www.sunnymeadowswater.com\/<\/li>\n<li>Respectfully submitted by Paula Niccum<\/li>\n<li>signed hard copy mailed to county 1.24.2018<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Sunny Meadows Missoula County Water and Sewer District Meeting Minutes December 6th, 2017 06:00 PM at East Missoula Fire Department \u00a0 Roll Call: Cyndie, Barb, Kari, Paula, Dusty.
