Sunny Meadows Missoula County Water and Sewer District<\/strong><\/p>\n

East Missoula Fire Station<\/strong><\/p>\n

Roll Call:\u00a0\u00a0<\/strong>Cyndie Winchell, Barb Powell, Paula Niccum, Dusty Deschamps, Kari Wafsted<\/p>\n

Approval of Minutes:\u00a0<\/strong>August minutes approval will be voted on at October meeting.<\/p>\n

Financial Information:<\/strong>\u00a0 None this month.\u00a0 June and fiscal year end expected at next meeting.<\/p>\n

Public input:<\/strong>\u00a0 None<\/p>\n

Old Business:<\/strong>Sewer Lot alarm system improvements:\u00a0 Not completed yet.\u00a0 Parts are on order.\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n

DEQ pressure recorders:\u00a0 \u00a0 Melee Valette from DEQ has collected data from recorders, we are waiting for her to let us know what we need to do.\u00a0 We may have to chlorinate full time.\u00a0 We are hoping to find a way to avoid chlorination, it is prohibitively expensive.<\/p>\n

Well house telemetry line installation is done.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Dusty reviewed the language for the contracts for Brian and Janet.\u00a0 He recommends that if we hire a meter reader, they should work for either Brian or Janet, but not directly for the district.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Contracts for meter reading and bookkeeping reviewed by Dusty.\u00a0 Dusty helped reword the legal language.\u00a0 Barb will type new ones up and send them around for everyone to read.\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n

Discussed water use assessment per person per household.\u00a0 The numbers don’t make sense on some homes.\u00a0 We may need to replace some meters.\u00a0 The price has increased over the years, we need to research replacement meters.<\/p>\n

We will try to figure out which meters have been replaced\u00a0 and when after initial installation.\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n

DEQ leak detection- Brian thinks Hydrovac on hill may help avoid chlorinating.\u00a0 We could wait for hearing from Melee Valette before doing it, the\u00a0 board decided to do so.\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n

Cindy found a contractor starting to fill a water truck for work at canyon river from our hydrants. We are looking for ways to remedy this unauthorized use.<\/p>\n

Dusty made a motion to pay East Missoula Fire Station 25.00 per meeting for using their space. Barb 2nd, motion carried.\u00a0 One extra meeting because of water system fix this year.<\/p>\n

Replacement of Anderson Olson meter remote, no one has been in touch as per Cyndies request.<\/p>\n

Cyndies and Paula have been looking into redoing the signs.\u00a0 Locations, meeting days and times have all changed since original painting.<\/p>\n

A motion made by Dusty and seconded by Cyndie to adjourn was made and carried, meeting adjourned.<\/p>\n
