September 7th, 2016 06:00 PM at Lutheran Church<\/p>\n

Roll Call:: Cyndie Winchell, Barb Powell, Dusty Deschamps, Kari Wafstet, Paula Niccum.<\/p>\n

\u00a0<\/p>\n

Approval of Minutes:\u00a0A motion to approve minutes as posted on webside was made by Dusty, seconded by Kari, voted to approve and passed.<\/p>\n

\u00a0<\/p>\n

Financials-<\/p>\n

We still have no year end reports from the county. \u00a0Barb requested and received a print out through 6-30 so she could work on budget.<\/p>\n

AR report in good shape, one house behind in the 30-60 day range.<\/p>\n

\u00a0<\/p>\n

Public Input- none<\/p>\n

\u00a0<\/p>\n

Old Business- Board compensation. \u00a0A decision on whether to designate expenditures for improvements on the hill as capital expenditures or operating expenses could effect board compensation. \u00a0Board voted to consider them as capital expenses since improvements were made, not just repairs. \u00a0Will vote on compensation at next month’s meeting.<\/p>\n

\u00a0<\/p>\n

Budget submitted for fiscal year 2017. \u00a0A resolution was made to adopt submitted budget for fiscal year 2017. Motion to adopt made by Dusty & seconded by Paula. All approved & \u00a0motion carried.<\/p>\n

\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n

The Darrah-Job property has been purchased and should be vacated for the new owners soon. \u00a0A letter was sent to new owner notifying them of the past due water balance that needs to be paid before closing. \u00a0The new owner has paid and is in good standing.<\/p>\n

\u00a0<\/p>\n

The Greene property sold. \u00a0New owners are named Byrnes. \u00a0Contact has been made between new owners and water district.<\/p>\n

\u00a0<\/p>\n

NSF verbage should be added to water ordinances. \u00a0The board will revisit at next meeting.<\/p>\n

What the board discusses regarding ordinance changes will be noted on the bills after next month’s meeting.<\/p>\n

\u00a0<\/p>\n

New Business-<\/p>\n

Power outage crisis procedure will be updated and more people will added to list of contacts.<\/p>\n

Cyndie will rerquest that Brian will give all water board members and\u00a0system members a tour of facilities. \u00a0If date of tour is after next billing, district members will be notified in bills.<\/p>\n
