and<\/p>\n<p><span class=\"resolved\">WHEREAS,<\/span> the District has adopted bylaws providing for compensation of directors for each month during which they attended a meeting; and<\/p>\n<p><span class=\"resolved\">WHEREAS,<\/span> the District&#8217;s bylaws call for each board member to receive $30 for each month during which they actually attended a meeting;
