Sunny Meadows Missoula County Water and Sewer District<\/span><\/p>\n

Minutes August 5, 2015<\/span><\/p>\n

Roll call:\u00a0 Cyndie Winchell, Mike Lilley, Mike Huber, Kari Swanson, Paula Niccum<\/span><\/p>\n

Motion made to approve minutes by Mike Lilley & second by Mike Huber.\u00a0 Motion carried, minutes approved.<\/span><\/p>\n

Financial info: nothing new from the county to report.<\/span><\/p>\n

Discussion about two households that are behind in payments.<\/span><\/p>\n

\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Public input<\/span><\/p>\n

Adam Pummil mowed the sewer lot.\u00a0 He does not want any compensation.\u00a0 The board is exploring ways to acknowledge the free labor.<\/span><\/p>\n

Old business<\/span><\/p>\n

Darrah residence looks curiously green after water was shut off for non-payment.\u00a0 They show no other signs they are doing without water either.\u00a0 District will investigate cost of digging up and capping the line.\u00a0 Cost of capping the line will be reported to the county assessor.\u00a0 Expenses will be added to what is already owed, although reimbursement is not likely to occur in this tax year.\u00a0 The district may need a new curb stop closer to the street.<\/span><\/p>\n

Kari Swanson completed paperwork to fill Tom Walter’s position on the board.\u00a0 <\/span><\/p>\n

Pummil proposal to purchase water from the system- none presented yet.<\/span><\/p>\n

Chlorination occurred after the power outage, and again after the break and repair of the water \u00a0line serving the Grob residence.<\/span><\/p>\n

\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Repair of water line to the Grobs: residents lost water and had a leak in the yard. \u00a0Curb stop not on this property.\u00a0 When water was shut off at the curb stop, four other houses lost their water as well.\u00a0 Decision was made to dig up the line for repair on Saturday afternoon, work completed at just after midnight Sunday morning.<\/span><\/p>\n

New secretary: Paula Niccum will take minutes in September and October after which time it may be either Paula Niccum or Kari Swenson.<\/span><\/p>\n
