1. Roll Call—Cyndie Winchell called the meeting to order at 7:00 PM. All board<\/p>\n
members were present.\u00a0<\/p>\n
2. Approval of Minutes,\u00a0<\/p>\n
a. Board members affirmed reading last month\u2019s minutes electronically.\u00a0<\/p>\n
b. Bill move, Mike Huber seconded. The minutes of August were<\/p>\n
unanimously approved.\u00a0<\/p>\n
3. Financial Report was read by Mike Lilley.\u00a0<\/p>\n
a. Mike explained the budget and detailed expenses and revenue. He<\/p>\n
also explained the budget verses actual amounts.<\/p>\n
b. Cindy reported that one home owner is over due on water payments.<\/p>\n
There is a chance of a shut off soon. Brian will be notified. Over all<\/p>\n
everyone else is pretty much paid up.\u00a0<\/p>\n
c. Bill Engelstad move-Mike Huber seconded.<\/p>\n
4. Old Business<\/p>\n
a. A lengthy debate regarding future water rates was discussed. The<\/p>\n
board will soon be sending out notices of the possible choices. The<\/p>\n
board is still seeking voluntary input from everyone. Once a new rate<\/p>\n
is established it will most likely be instituted January of 2010.\u00a0<\/p>\n
5. District Open House<\/p>\n
a. Board members will man both the new pump house and well house on<\/p>\n
open house September 27th, from 1 PM to 4 PM. The board highly<\/p>\n
recommends everyone living in the district to take time out of there<\/p>\n
busy schedules to take part. We feel everyone will be pleased at the<\/p>\n
accomplishments. Keep in mind a person attending the new well<\/p>\n
house must walk up to the well house as there is no place to park.\u00a0<\/p>\n
6. New Business<\/p>\n
a. Being the new tank\u2019s warranty will be up soon it was suggested that<\/p>\n
we possibly should have it tested for possible damages or flaws. After<\/p>\n
talking to Craig Pozega from Great West Engineering our concerns<\/p>\n
were rested. Our tank is not likely to falter due to its great<\/p>\n
construction.\u00a0<\/p>\n
b. Due to the large amounts of rain we recently received several places at<\/p>\n
and around the well and well house were washed out. Being under<\/p>\n
warranty it will be soon repaired.<\/p>\n
c. The sewer is in urgent need of repair. A valve must be replaced which<\/p>\n
will require some digging. Were hoping the drain field will not<\/p>\n
require complete replacement. This would be very expensive. At this<\/p>\n
time the Postma\u2019s, living right next to the drain field are having a<\/p>\n
problem with the smell. Paterson will be contacted to research the<\/p>\n
sewer problem and the board will make arrangement to have it<\/p>\n
repaired.<\/p>\n
