2. Approval of Minutes<\/p>\n
a. Mike H. moved, Bill seconded*** and the minutes from February7th, 2008 were<\/p>\n
unanimously approved.<\/p>\n
3. Financial Information (as of the end of January)<\/p>\n
a. Cyndie reported.\u00a0<\/p>\n
b. All payments are current to 30 days.<\/p>\n
c. The present total balance cash assets = $60, 587.14 with $30,000 in construction and an<\/p>\n
actual balance of $30,587.14<\/p>\n

f. When a flashing light appears, a meter\u2019s battery needs to be replaced. One home\u2019s bill is<\/p>\n
now considerably off (200 units) due to not replacing the battery immediately. A new<\/p>\n
adjusted bill will be sent to the Rusk household. One other home has had a renter change<\/p>\n
and the actual owner will be billed for services.<\/p>\n
\u00a0g. Mike H. moved \/ Tom seconded *** and the financial report was accepted unanimously.<\/p>\n
4. Public Input<\/p>\n
a. None\u00a0<\/p>\n
5. Old Business<\/p>\n
a. Aquifer Issues and Replacement Well<\/p>\n
i. Under contract, money will be electronically deposited to our account.<\/p>\n
ii. Craig called about information for design specs @ DEQ. There is a new rule that<\/p>\n
all wells have a cleared, safe, 100-foot surrounding radius. Our wells have a<\/p>\n
pipeline, a highway, and neighborhood homes. Craig thinks that 60 feet can be<\/p>\n
negotiated.\u00a0<\/p>\n
1. To dig a new well, property easements are required by the county, the state,<\/p>\n
and one homeowner. The easement limits storage of gas and fertilizer and<\/p>\n
chemicals that could seep into the water system. Mike L. will pursue the<\/p>\n
county and state easements and Tom and Mike H. will approach the<\/p>\n
homeowner next to the wells.<\/p>\n
b. Meter Replacement<\/p>\n
i. A letter to all water users was proofed. It will explain the new meters.<\/p>\n
ii. There was discussion about how it is essential to the project that meters be installed.<\/p>\n
Funding will be lost otherwise.<\/p>\n
iii. The dam removal draw down is now scheduled March 24.<\/p>\n
iv. Once the district owns all of the meters, it will repair \/ replace each, as needed.<\/p>\n
v. Cyndie moved, Tom seconded***, and a unanimous vote of RESOLUTION 2008-7<\/p>\n
passed Contracts<\/p>\n
c. Budget Update<\/p>\n
i. Bill moved, Mike H. seconded*** and RESOLUTION 2008-8 passed by all to<\/p>\n
amend the budget by $18,000<\/p>\n
6. New Business<\/p>\n
a. Engineering<\/p>\n
i. Ventilation in the pump house is awaiting DEQ comments.<\/p>\n
ii. The Sunday Missoulian will have an ad for bids<\/p>\n
iii. There was discussion regarding Y-shaped-spots in the water line and meter<\/p>\n
locations six feet underground.<\/p>\n
b. TSEP Draw<\/p>\n
i. The Treasure State Endowment Program plan is to drill a well in 2 weeks.<\/p>\n
ii. Great West is to be reimbursed $12,124.70.<\/p>\n
iii. TSEP draw #3 was moved by Mike H, seconded by Bill, and unanimously passed<\/p>\n
as RESOLUTION 2008-9.\u00a0<\/p>\n
7. Adjournment At 8:20 PM, Bill moved \/ Mike H. Bill seconded ***, and the meeting unanimously<\/p>\n
