A resolution establishing the procedures to be used for bidding the upgrade project<\/b><\/p>\n

BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF directors of the sunny meadows Missoula county water and sewer district:<\/b><\/p>\n

WHEREAS,<\/b> the District must conform to Montana state guidelines regarding bidding of contracts for public facilities; and<\/p>\n

WHEREAS,<\/b> sealed bids submitted to the District must be registered and opened; and<\/p>\n

WHEREAS,<\/b> the District must determine the methods of publishing the plans for the project; and<\/p>\n

WHEREAS,<\/b> Great West Engineering has facilities suitable for use in registering and opening bids.<\/p>\n

THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED,<\/b> that the District establishes the following procedures for use in bidding procedures:<\/p>\n

  1. \n

    Drawings and the Project manual will be submitted to the following builders exchanges: Great Falls Builders Exchange, Missoula Plans Exchange, Butte Builders Exchange, and the Montana Contractors Association (Helena).<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

  2. \n

    Notice of availability will be published in the Missoulian as required to meet MCA requirements.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

  3. \n

    The Pre-Bid conference will be held at the home of Bill Engelstad.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

  4. \n

    Bids will be submitted to the offices of Great West Engineering, where they will be registered and opened by Craig Pozega as the District’s representative.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

  5. \n

    Publication date and bid opening date and time will be determined by Craig Pozega and Mike Lilley, based on the completion status of project design.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n
