Roll Call<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 30px;\">a. President, Mike Lilley, called the meeting to order at 6:58 P.M. All board members were<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 60px;\">present.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>2. Approval of Minutes<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 30px;\">a. Bill moved, Cyndie seconded*** and the minutes from November 1st, 2007 were<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 60px;\">unanimously approved.<\/p>\n<p>3. Financial Information (as of the end of October)<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 30px;\">a. Cyndie reported. The present total balance = $57, 423.98.<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 30px;\">b. 47.5% of the budget has already been collected.<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 30px;\">c. The SRF budget is unspent so far.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 30px;\">d. Revenue\u00a0<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 60px;\">i. $ 4166.68 Total revenue<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 30px;\">e. Expenses: amount this month \/ % spent. We are @ 33% of the year<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 60px;\">i. $ 15.00 supplies 99%<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 60px;\">ii. Postage 36%<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 60px;\">iii. Insurance 105%<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 60px;\">xiv. $7837.17 Total Expenditures \/ 41%<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 30px;\">\u00a0d. Bill moved\/Tom seconded *** and the financial report was accepted unanimously.<\/p>\n<p>4. Public Input<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 30px;\">a. Tom Walter is grateful Brian cut back the bushes near his home by about three feet.<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 30px;\">b. Water testing circulates between five homes and a BAC T test may be performed later<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 60px;\">today due to a bad test result. It was speculated that the hydrant repair process may have<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 60px;\">contributed. [A second test was FINE and no chlorination was necessary.]\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>5. Old Business<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 30px;\">\u00a0a. Fire Hydrants<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 60px;\">i. Bill reported. It is assumed the repair is satisfactorily working. There has been no<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 90px;\">response and no bill yet.<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 60px;\">ii. The repair was deeper than expected, and the hydrant was moved about six feet.<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 60px;\">iii. We have reduced the risk of fire. All hydrants are working now.<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 30px;\">b. Meter Reader \/Billing Clerk<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 60px;\">i. The board continued the same wage for the new employee candidates, requiring:<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 90px;\">1. owning their own computer<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 90px;\">2. storing records<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 90px;\">3. working very few hours, $100 to read meters &amp; $20\/hour billing<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 90px;\">4. A suggestion that the new clerk take minutes at these meetings was raised.<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 120px;\">The new person will be invited to the January meeting to meet the board.<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 60px;\">ii. Josie will continue in the role she resigned from as long as needed.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 60px;\">iii. A resolution unanimously *** passed to hire LaChele Hollensteiner (\u201cShelly\u201d)<\/p>\n<p>6. New Business<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 30px;\">a. Engineering<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 60px;\">i. Mike L. reported that design documents are on schedule and will be shown to<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 90px;\">agencies this month.<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 30px;\">b. Funding Draw Request<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 60px;\">i. The first request from TSEP for money is a draw down of $30,500.46.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 60px;\">ii. A resolution moved by Mike H. and seconded by Cyndie *** passed unanimously.<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 90px;\">{Aside: Two meters were flashing, indicating they may not be reading correctly. Homeowners are<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 90px;\">encouraged to periodically check their meter reading against their bill.}<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 30px;\">c. Billing Clerk Bonus<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 60px;\">i. Cyndie moved and Bill seconded *** a $100 bonus to Josie.<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 30px;\">d. Water Operator Contract<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 60px;\">i. The first request from TSEP for money is a draw down of $30,500.46.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 60px;\">ii. There was discussion about the Montana investment pool. The board will continue to<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 60px;\">monitor developments, but will leave the investment alone at this time.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 30px;\">b. Most state agencies have no choice but to leave the money untouched.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>8.
